Carson City Save Mart stores, Red Cross team up to collect cash for Little Valley Fire victims
Save Mart stores in Carson City and one Reno store have launched a donation campaign through the American Red Cross to aid victims of the Little Valley Fire in Washoe Valley.
Save Mart companies will match shopper donations up to $1,000 per store. Three Save Mart Supermarket stores began collecting monetary donations Tuesday for the American Red Cross recovery efforts in Washoe County related to the Little Valley Fire.
The following three stores in Nevada are participating:
— 4348 South Carson Street, Carson City
— 3620 North Carson Street, Carson City
— 4995 Kietzke Lane, Reno
Shoppers can donate any amount at checkout. The donation amount will be printed on the receipt, so shoppers have a record of their tax deductible donation.
This fundraising drive for the Little Valley Fire will last one week and end the close of business Monday, Oct. 24.
