Carson City Turkey Trot online registration ends midnight Tuesday
Online registration for the annual Carson City Turkey Trot ends midnight Tuesday. Join organizers of this fun-filled, non-fattening Thanksgiving Day morning fun run and walk and give yourself an excuse for an extra piece of pie later in the day.

The annual Turkey Trot is this Thursday, Nov. 24 with more than 300 runners and trotters registered so far. Bring your family and friends to wobble before you gobble.
Online registration is $35 for 8K and 5K and $15 for the Kids Gobble Wobble 1 Mile.
Same day registration opens at 7am Thursday morning in front of the Governor’s Mansion and increases to $40 – no price increase for the Kids Run.
Hosted by St. Teresa Catholic School, the Turkey Trot offers an 8K, 5-mile run, a 5K, 3.1 miles run / walk, or the Gobble Wobble 1 mile Kids Fun Run. The event begins on Mountain Street in front of the Governor's Mansion and meanders through the west side of town.
The money raised will go to the school with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Friends in Service Helping, also known as FISH. Pies and medals will be given to the top three finishers for men and women.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. for the Gobble Wobble.
Runners (who pre-register) receive a shirt and small swag bag of goodies. Top three finishers for male and female receive a medal.
