Western Nevada Musical Theatre's 'Once Upon A Mattress' hits stage weekends starting Friday

Join us for our first annual Best Ball Golf Tournament Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Eagle Valley Golf course in Carson City. The funds raised will go towards Carson High Schools all night graduation celebration and senior's trip to Six Flags in California.

The Rotary Club of Carson City is taking part in the U.S. Navy Week in Carson City this week. Three Navy representatives will join the Rotarians at their weekly lunch meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 27. The meeting takes place at noon in the Brewery Arts Center’s Grand Ballroom.

Sara Pettay is one of our many outstanding seniors at Carson High School. As a Jump Start student at Western Nevada College on track to receive her Associate of Science degree in May, just before receiving her CHS diploma, Sara has proven she is ready to succeed in college and her career.

Carson City deputies arrested a 56-year-old Carson City resident for failing to update his registration as a sex offender.

UPDATE 10:17 a.m.: A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

A manager for the business stated the suspect entered the business and attempted to make a purchase. Due to the individual’s suspected high intoxication he was denied service.
