Carson City Rotary Club is looking for high school students for foreign exchange program
Have you considered attending High School in a Foreign Country?
High school students who have been thinking of spending their senior high school year abroad learning and living in a foreign country should submit their application to the Carson City Rotary Club as soon as possible.
The deadline for applications is October 4th. All students between the ages of 15 ½ and 18 ½ at the time of departure are eligible.
Students will live with one or more host families in a foreign country, attending high school, while learning about the country, experiencing first hand its culture, language, and history while at the same time representing the USA.
Countries that are available to exchange students include: France, Belgium, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand and more.
Rotary provides the language programs to help the student learn the language before they depart. Rotary is one of the leaders in hosting student exchanges for over 30 years.
Every student has a counselor here in the US as well as a local counselor in their country to guide them through their exchange. Safety and insuring a full positive experience are the goals of the exchange.
