Carson City’s 6th Annual BOOnanza returns to Mills Park Oct. 27 with trick or treating, crafts, spooky activities and more
The BOOnanza brings thousands of local children and their caregivers to a free, family-friendly trick-or-treating extravaganza hosted by Carson City Parks and Rec in which over 50 local businesses, nonprofits, city and state departments and more volunteer their time (and candy!) to handing out treats from their decorated spooky booths. The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m.
Since moving the event into Mills Park proper, in addition to candy, participants have been able to ride the Mills Park Train, be spooked from Youth Theater Carson City, play carnival games, make crafts, and more!
Food trucks and vendors will be on site to serve up delicious fare, and don’t forget to vote in the Best Booth Contest (keep an eye out for Carson Now’s booth as well!)
