Carson City road report for week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 2
Here is the Carson City road report for the week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, 2022. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Challenger Way between College Parkway and Hot Springs Road will be closed, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Mountain Street between Long Street and Fleischmann Way will be closed, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Overland Street between Voltaire Street and Cochise Street will be closed, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm for utility work.
— Park Street between John Street and Long Street will be closed, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— I-580 will have closures in both directions, Sunday, 7:00am and 10:00am. Both directions will be closed periodically for up to 20 minutes between Arrowhead Drive and Eastlake Boulevard (Exit 10) in Washoe Valley for powerline improvements.
The following streets will have narrowed lanes and shoulder work between Nevada Street and Mountain Street, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm: Caroline Street, Robinson Street, Spear Street and Telegraph Street.
Carson Street at Clearview Drive will have shoulder work, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for signal repairs. Clearview Drive at Carson Street will have lane reductions, Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for signal repairs.
— 5th Street between Saliman Road and Warm Springs Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm for utility work.
— Forrest Way between Goni Drive and the cul-de-sac will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Sheep Drive between Deer Run Road and Asphalt Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm for utility work.
— Stewart Street between 7th Street and Musser Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm for utility work.
