Developer to begin infrastructure work on Carson City's Lompa Ranch residential project
The developer of the Lompa Ranch residential project, located south and east of Carson High School, will begin infrastructure work Monday, Sept. 14, according to the home builder.
Ryder Homes says it will begin construction on the infrastructure for the master-planned community at Lompa Ranch, including roadways, drainage channels and public utilities.
"Construction of the first phase of single-family homes and apartment units will begin after the new year with homes being released for sale in the summer of 2021," according to a news release sent Wednesday. "When complete, the communities will consist of 189 new homes with five different single and two-story floor plans ranging in size from approximately 1,700 to 2,900 square feet, and 360 new apartment units."
“We are building the infrastructure now so that we are able to start our first phase of new homes and apartment units in the new year,“ said Steve Thomsen, Nevada Vice President of Ryder Homes. “We are looking forward to building this community and providing the much needed infrastructure and housing to Carson City.”
Lompa Ranch is a 400-plus acre site located to the south and east of Carson High School. The master-planned community will have a mix of multi-family, single family and commercial uses.
Ryder Homes will be building the first phases of this project with several additional phases to follow over the coming years. For information on Ryder Homes, visit www.ryderhomes.com.
