Food drive leads to something 'FISH-y' at Carson City's Bethlehem Lutheran School
A student-led canned food drive for Friends in Service Helping, also known as FISH, was met with a challenge by the staff of Carson City's Bethlehem Lutheran School.
The challenge was to bring in 6,000 cans to the school for the drive. The students not only met the challenge, but went above and beyond bringing more than 10,000 cans.
On Thursday, Nov. 14 the entire staff were dressed by their students in whatever goofy things they could find.
It was up to each class to bring in whatever they wanted their teacher to wear. The winning class, the 5th grade, got to dress not only their teacher, Mr. Jarvis Manning, but the office staff as well.
