Admission on Friday is $2.00 and Saturday is $1.50 or $1.00 with a canned food item. All canned food items will be donated to Advocates to End Domestic Violence.

16th Annual Canstruction Reno

The structures will be built starting March 6th in Center Court, and mall visitors will be encouraged to cast votes for our award ceremony on March 7th.
The structures will be on display around the center following the award ceremony until they are taken down on March 10th. This unique design and build competition is presented by local sponsors such as Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry and will be benefitting the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. "It's been great," said Courtney Warner, Executive Director of the Carson City Senior Center. "We've received more cash and groceries than expected for Meals on Wheels," she added.

Santa Claus is popping up all over, including at Benson Feed for the annual CASI Pet Photos with St. Nick and aboard the train at our Railroad Museum’s Santa Train. The musical ‘Honk, Jr’ for the young ones and Love/Sick for the older crowd are on the stage at the Brewery Arts Center. Start off with a trip to the Governor’s Mansion with something non-perishable for the annual Share Your Christmas Food Drive: you won’t even have to leave the warmth of your vehicle. Break a leg to Wild Horse Children’s Theater and to the Proscenium Players. Both troupes begin the run of their winter plays tonight at the Brewery Arts Center. It’s a Christmas Shopping Extravaganza at Fuji Park. You’ll find a plethora of vendors, crafters, and artisans waiting to help make your holiday shopping hassle-free.

Many amazing opportunities are going on in the CHS school library. The CHS Library is piloting the Nevada Teacher-Librarian Evaluation framework and transitioning from a “library” to a collaborative learning commons.

Donations of 10 cans or more will result in a 10% discount on your purchase through the weekend.
“Our goal is to fill the truck with cans for the community,” said owner, Meredith Fischer. “We had a great turnout last year for our canned food drive but this year, we want to do more.”
