Dayton Chamber presents Oct. 13 'Economic Development in Lyon County' presentation

The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present a luncheon panel on "Economic Development in Lyon County" on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 11:30 am. at the Dayton Valley Golf Club in the Sierra Room.

Our guest panelists include Lyon County Manager, Mr. Jeff Page, the new Executive Director of Northern Nevada Development Authority, Mr. Philip Cowee, and the new director of Community Development for Lyon County, Mr. Andrew Haskin.

Economic development is a critical component that drives economic growth in our economy, creating high wage jobs and facilitating an improved quality of life.

Carson City Fire Department was called just before noon to a brush fire in the 4000 block of Village Drive near Pheasant and Fairview.
The call came into dispatch as a brush fire moving toward trees and nearby residences.
