Eyes on Carson City: Over the hump
As capital city commuters wrapped up mid-week Wednesday afternoon, they were reminded by a neighbor that they are worth more than their work takes from them.
E.D. Crouser of Carson City took time out of her day Wednesday to send positive vibes to motorists during the rush hour commute at Fairview Drive and U.S. Highway 50 East, waving her encouraging messages on a cardboard sign and sporting her trademark red foam clown nose.
In her usual bright fashion, Crouser responded to each honk of a horn with a smile and a wave.
Wednesday is hump day, and it's now downhill toward the weekend.
