Free concerts throughout Carson City Off-Road weekend
The Carson City Off-Road will bring some of the country’s best mountain bike riders into Carson City for the weekend. But the event isn’t just about cycling.
Downtown will come alive with brews and tunes as part of the Four Peaks Brewing Company Music Festival, which will offer free concerts in McFadden Plaza throughout the weekend.
The party will kick off 4-5:30 p.m. Friday with Picket Line, a Bluegrass band from South Lake Tahoe. The fun will continue with 4 Piece Puzzle playing dance jams, funk, jazz, soul, space, electro and tight grooves at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Local band Trippin’ King Snakes, playing a variety of genres, will take the stage at 1 p.m. followed by rock-n-roll band Greta Van Fleet at 5 p.m.
Headliner Barrington Levy, bringing the reggae sounds from Jamaica, will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday night will finish off with a fire performance from Controlled Burn.
Local groove pop band The Whitehats will close the series at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Proceeds from the Four Peaks Beer Garden, set up along the finish line, will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada.
Barrington Levy will headline the Four Peaks Brewing Company Music Festival during the Carson City Off-Road. He will take the stage at McFadden Plaza 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
