UPDATE: The Mother Hips show at Nashville Social Club scheduled for Friday has been canceled due to extreme winter weather and dangerous driving conditions. Nashville Social Club hopes to reschedule, staff wrote in a note to Facebook followers.

The Nashville Social Club in Carson City has announced tickets are still available for The Mother Hips, performing live in “The Swan” Music Hall on Friday, March 10.

The Mother Hips have been praised by Rolling Stone as “divinely inspired“ and guests of the Nashville Social Club will get to experience why this Friday night.

Interested in learning about flying? This event Saturday at Carson City Airport is for kids ages 8-17 years old that are interested in learning more about flying. Pilots will be discussing the Principles of Flight and general information about aircraft and flying. We will also be discussing our Young Eagles Program and how kids can get a free flights in an aircraft.

As their class project, the 2023 class of the Carson City Chamber Leadership Institute will be refurbishing the Veterans Resource Center at the Western Nevada College. Multiple events are planned to raise funds for the project starting with:

A public memorial will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 8 to honor the lives lost in the Feb. 24 REMSA Care Flight crash near Stagecoach.

The public memorial follows a week of private memorials held for individual victims for family and friends.
