The topics will include recognizing symptoms of internal bleeding, heatstroke, toxin ingestion, allergic reactions, rattlesnake bites, and gastric dilatation-volvulus or “bloat.”

This year marks the cult classic’s 50th year since its stage debut in 1973, which was quickly followed by the famous Rocky Horror Picture Show movie in 1975.

One of the featured soloists is CHS senior, Alex Garcia Perez. He started his band education on Alto Saxophone but he found the low, rich sound of the Bassoon very enticing. He began studying the bassoon in the eighth grade. After a year of lots and lots of practice, he was selected to perform with the CHS Wind Ensemble.

Molly has lived in Dayton, Nev., her whole life and for the past 4 years has attended Dayton High School. During her years at Dayton High she has participated in basketball, soccer and track.
Carson City seeks community partners, volunteers and donations for 2023 Kids to Parks Day

The Carson City Park Rangers are seeking community organizations to participate in the event and offer an outdoor activity for kids and families to enjoy. This will be a great opportunity to advertise and engage with the public.

Pastor Heather from CenterPoint Church, will be giving a pet blessing. This will be followed by a chili tasting. Small bowl of chili is $5 and a large bowl of chili is $10. All proceeds go to the dog park.
