On Friday, March 19, 2021, Larry Moore, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 60 in Dayton, Nev.

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting the first case of the B.1.1.7 COVID-19 variant in the Quad-County Region.

The Nevada State Public Health Lab confirmed the detection of the variant in a Carson City resident.

The individual has no travel history and no known exposures. CCHHS is conducting extensive contact tracing on the confirmed case to reduce the spread of the variant.

Douglas County updated their process for hosting public meetings. Beginning Thursday, April 1, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners will hold hybrid meetings, a format which provides an in-person option for Commissioners, staff, as well as the public to attend while also giving others the ability to attend by Zoom and watch via livestream, if they choose.

Bob passed away March 6, 2021. Just short of his 74th birthday.
Born at US Naval Hospital, Long Beach, California. He was preceded in death by his mother Helena, his father Eugene and his brother Jim.
A graduate of UC Berkley. Bob went on to a career in the gaming industry. Employed at Caesars Tahoe for several years. He went on to tour the world on the cruise ship Crystal Harmony as the casino manager.
Bob retired to care for his ailing mother at her home in Saratoga, California until her passing.

force and requiring that De-Escalation techniques and Crisis Intervention be used prior to use of force, if feasible.
