Quad County, Carson City COVID-19 Thursday update: 2 deaths, 9 new cases and 77 recoveries
Carson City Health and Human Services reports Thursday, March 25, 2021 that there are 2 deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad County region. CCHHS is also reporting 9 new cases and 77 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County region.
The individuals were:
— A male Douglas County resident in his 90’s
— A male Douglas County resident in his 60’s
This brings the total number of cases to 11,786, with 10,560 recoveries and 219 deaths; 1,007 cases remain active.

Upcoming testing is for Quad-County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County) residents ONLY, all others will be turned away. Testing is free of charge, no appointments or reservations.
— There will be a COVID-19 testing event Friday, March 26, in Carson City, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Carson City Corporate Yard, 549 Airport Rd. Carson City.
— There will be a COVID testing event Tuesday, March 30, 9 to 10:30 a.m., Douglas Community Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville.
