FIG Insurnace, A+ Documents, and Sierra Payroll are new to the winewalk and can't wait to meet the regulars and the first timers. The winewalk happens the first Saturday of every month and is sponsored by the Downtown Business Association. It is a fun way to learn about our local businesses. Hope to see you next month!

Alzheimer’s disease the topic at Carson City Democratic luncheon

The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Sandy Severance, Community Engagement Manager for the Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada. She will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia more generally, and Alzheimer’s Association services available locally. Topics include the impact of Alzheimer’s, myths and facts, risk factors, the 10 warning signs, and how others can join the fight against the disease.
