Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Mooshy
Give yourself the gift of an affectionate and attentive furry companion for Christmas and many years to come.
Mooshy is an incredibly mellow and sweet little long-haired boy who only wants to love and be loved. If you start petting him, he will turn into a bowl of mush. He flops over on his back so you can love him all over and hopefully, never stop. Mooshy would like nothing more than to have a forever home with a forever friend or family.
Sadly, Mooshy was dumped in a park a few months ago. Left to fend for himself, he somehow managed to survive. Even after all he has been through, he still loves and trusts people and longs for human companionship.
This adorable young kitty is close to 1 year old. He’s just a little guy with a shorter tail and fluffy black mane. Though he may be little in size, he comes with a big sparkling personality.
Mooshy appears to be fine with cat friendly dogs and gets along with other cats, as long as they are nice and don’t steal all the human attention he craves. He is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and has impeccable litterbox manners.
Mooshy is hard to photograph because he is mostly on his back getting belly rubs. So, please come to Catmandu this weekend to meet this handsome love-bug in person.
We will be open this week on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will be closed on Sunday 12/24 in honor of Christmas Eve. Catmandu is located at 1829 Brown Street. If you would like to adopt, please come before 3 pm so you have plenty of time to visit and get to know the kitties.
Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. At Catmandu we care for over 80 cats that would otherwise be roaming the streets of Carson City. This includes spay/neuter, shots, food, housing and vet care. If you would like to volunteer and/or make a donation, please visit our website at: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate any help we receive from the community, so we can continue to care for Carson City’s orphaned, homeless and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you!
