Nevada Humane Society, Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Moose
Happy Thursday Carson City and say hello to out pet of the week, Moose!
Moose, the one-year-old mixed breed, is a lovable giant needing a bit of refining. He's got the fundamentals down with house and crate training and even enjoys car rides, making him a fantastic companion for those on the go.
While he's a big sweetie, he's still perfecting his manners, with some room for improvement in jumping, digging, and counter-surfing. With a little guidance, Moose promises to be a loyal and affectionate addition to any family willing to invest some time in basic obedience training.
He needs to meet any other dogs or children under 15 that will live in the home. We are unsure about how he interacts with cats.
Here is what Moose has to say about himself: "Woof! I'm Moose, a one-year-old bundle of energy eager to embark on the adventure of training and learning with you. I may be a bit nervous to start, but with a little warming up, I'll be ready to be your adventure buddy in no time! Let's tackle training and playing together, make some memories, and enjoy the pawsome journey ahead!"
Moose is free to adopt! You can meet Moose at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
