A pretty little short-haired silver tabby who is just 9 months old, Tink needs someone who is usually home; such as a retiree or a person who works from home. The music features a range of unique 60’s obscura — high energy rock, blues, jazz, samba, old advertisements, and TV moments.
Carson City's Bethlehem Lutheran School hosts St. Patrick’s themed Bunco Night Fundraiser

Registration is $25 and includes game play, a baked potato and chili bar, prizes, a kids hangout with bingo and dinner in the fellowship hall, and a raffle.

Carson City's Miller Counseling and Wellness Center offering free Grief Support Groups Wednesdays
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 01/26/2024 - 5:11pmMiller Counseling is partnering with Douglas Center for Hope and Healing to offer grief support groups to Carson City and the surrounding rural communities Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.
The Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is located at 104 W. Telegraph St. in Carson City.
The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.
Senior Spotlight: Carson High’s Todd Gosselin

Nevada Humane Society Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Laffy Taffy

He came in as a stray at our Reno campus in October of 2023. Laffy Taffy is a very sweet, energetic boy who can’t wait for his fur-ever home.

Piglet is a very good-looking fella with good inside manners. He is an indoor only cat.

She has been a Muscle Powered board member since 2007, and in the years since has served as the group's president, secretary, treasurer, walk leader and trash mob organizer. The Muscle Powered organization works toward a community where walking and biking, for transportation or recreation, is a way of life. They promote creation of pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly infrastructure by developing and maintaining trails and resources.
