GoFundMe announced for Carson City family who lost everything in house fire Sunday morning
On Sunday morning, a Carson City family lost everything in a home fire.
The following comes from the GoFundMe:
Hi everyone. I am setting up this Go Fund Me to kindly request your support for my older brother, Armando Silis and his family (Girlfriend, their 2-year-old son and his father-in-law) who lost everything this Sunday, January 7, 2024 when our family home burned down.
At approximately 9:30AM my brother and his family woke up to the fire alarms ringing and all they had time for was to run out the door with what they had on. The house was filled with smoke and in a matter of seconds the home went up in flames and within no time all their furniture and belongings, along with the family home, were destroyed.
Armando is one of the kindest and hardest working individuals that you will ever meet. He has been working since he was 14 years old and has always taken pride in providing for his family and trying to always help his loved ones.
The fire also burned all of Armando’s tools which he had been slowly acquiring for doing side jobs on top of his full time job. His girlfriend, Yasmine had recently started her own photography business to contribute to the family, but unfortunately the fire also destroyed her cameras, computer and equipment for her small business.
Please help this young couple and their 2-year old son recover by making a contribution to:
