We are open on Dec. 10-11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Admission is $1 and kids are free.

Bold and Funky Jewelry Making Event

Carson Valley Pops Orchestra Holiday Concert set for Dec. 10

This free concert will feature traditional tunes such as White Christmas, Oh Holy Night and Silent Night. The Voices of the Sierra Choir will perform several holiday selections and the always-popular holiday sing along is also planned.
Led by Co-Conductors Stephanie Reynolds and C.J. Birch, this performance is a perfect way to celebrate the holidays with your friends and family.

“Dirty Diapers/Rabbit Ears” is opening Wednesday, Nov. 30 in Carson City and the exhibit will be shown through Friday, Feb. 3.

“I’ve got stuff made by actual humans,” he said. “All that other stuff is made by machines.”
But when customers come into his shop, he’s not pushing to make a sale. He’s got a bigger goal in mind.
“Art changed my life,” he said. “If they take the time to learn the history, learn about the artist, it could change their lives too. It’s not just about buying stuff.”
