Paula Poundstone to perform in Carson City to raise money for the Library

Carson City, NV—The Carson City Friends of the Library CCFL is hosting a performance by award winning comedienne, Paula Poundstone to raise money for the Library. The CCFL invited Poundstone to Carson City to celebrate National Friends of the Library Week and to help raise money for the Library.

The performance will take place on Friday, October 26 at the Bob Boldrick Theater (Community Center), located at 851 East William Street in Carson City. The doors open at 7 PM.

Harvest Book Sale

The Friends of the Carson City Library will have their Harvest Book Sale at the Library Thursday, Sept. 21 from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 am to 4pm. All books for sale are newly donated. We have a large assortment of fiction and nonfiction, adult and children's books, hardcovers and paperbacks. There will be a preview sale for members of the Friends on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Nonmmembers can join at the door. All proceeds benefit the Carson City Library. Bargain Book Sale

The Friends of the Carson City Library are having their annual Bargain Book Sale Friday and Saturday, August 10th and 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Sale will be held at the Carson City Library, 900 N. Roop Street. All hardcover books will be priced at $1.00, paperbacks at 2 for $1.00 and children's books at 4 for $1.00. Also for sale will be videos and records at 10 for $1.00. There will be a preview sale Thursday, August 9th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for members of the Friends of the Library. If you're not a member yet you can join at the door.
