Lyon County authorities seek help identifying man who robbed Dayton Valley Corner Store on Monday night
The Dayton Valley Corner Store was robbed at 8 p.m. on Monday, the Lyon County Sheriff's Office reports. While a weapon wasn't involved in robbery, the suspect took approximately $200 in cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5 foot five inches tall, 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt with the words CITY on the front, light colored blue jeans and light colored shoes. He was wearing a black ski mask or black bandana over the front of his face and wore black gloves.
According to Sgt. Jeremy Grundy, the suspect entered the store at 409 Dayton Valley Road, jumped the counter and ordered the clerk to open the register. The clerk opened the register and the suspect took the $20 bills in the register, jumped back over the counter and left the store in an unknown direction.
