Are your kids interesting in aviation? Young Eagles offers free flights at Carson City Airport
Interested in experiencing the thrill of flight in a single engine aircraft? The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 is hosting another Young Eagles event at the Carson City Airport. This event is free and is open to kids ages 8-17 years of age.
On the day of the event, the kids will receive a pre-flight safety briefing and then fly in one of a variety of single engine aircraft that are owned by our Young Eagle Pilots.
They will also receive a Log Book to record their flights, a free membership to the EAA Young Eagles and an access code for free on-line Ground School.
The event is scheduled for June 15, 2024 and registration will open on June 8, 2024 at 8 a.m. It is limited to the first 60 kids that register and these slots fill up quickly. Click here for the reservation link.
We will also be hosting a pancake breakfast that morning at the EAA Chapter House which is located just west of the terminal. Breakfast will be served from 8 am to approximately 10 am and is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for children under age 18. Breakfast includes all the pancakes and eggs one can eat, a helping of sausage, orange juice, coffee, and bottled water. Cash or credit accepted. No reservation for breakfast is required.
