Comedian, youth advocate to give anti-bullying presentation Wednesday in Carson City
With bullying awareness and prevention being addressed throughout the country, a nationally recognized comedian, motivational speaker and youth advocate will appear Wednesday in Carson City to give his unique take and problem solving advice to teachers, youth and parents.
Carson City Parks and Recreation and the Junior Giants baseball program will host Michael Pritchard at the Community Center’s Bob Boldrick Theater, 851 East William Street beginning at 6 p.m.
The presentation is designed to raise awareness on bullying and bullying prevention. It will be a educational yet entertaining experiences for children and adult of all ages. The event is free and everybody is welcome. See the video below.
Pritchard's sensational standup comedy billed him onstage with Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Dana Carvey and Whoopi Goldberg. He's done voice work for "Star Wars" episodes and "Sesame Street" and now focuses primarily on using his comic talents for inspiring youth and adults.
Using his unique humorous style, he empowers his young audience with social and emotional skills and influences them to make good choices.
