Carson City traffic stop leads to arrests for meth trafficking, fourth DUI and credit card fraud

A traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of four people Saturday night, including the driver for suspicion of drug trafficking and a fourth DUI, a Carson City Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team sergeant said.

Christine Racine, 37, of Martinez, Calif., was arrested in the 500 block of East William Street following a traffic stop where she was driving a vehicle that didn’t have license plates and was paced going 37 mph in a 25 mph zone on Carson Street, said Carson City Sheriff's Office SET Sgt. She stated she had used meth at around 4 p.m. that day and agreed to take a blood test, the arrest report states. A criminal history revealed she has been arrested and convicted for three DUIs and spent 60 months at Nevada State Prison.
