Carson City arrests: Man jailed on suspicion of preventing victim from reporting battery
A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 800 block of Colorado Street on felony suspicion of preventing a witness from reporting a crime, misdemeanor domestic battery and violation of probation conditions, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies arrived on scene and saw the suspect, Clinton Forest Page, leave the residence. The officer ordered him to stop. The suspect told officers “I only tried to keep her from calling you guys,” the arrest report states.
A deputy spoke with the victim who said she and the man were arguing and she tried to call 911. She said the man tried to grab the phone out of her hand and then hit her in the face, the arrest report states.
The officer could observe slight redness on the left side of the victim’s face. The man was arrested at 8:38 p.m. Bail: $9,137.

— A 20-year-old Silver Springs woman, Stephanie Elizabeth Funderburk, was booked into jail Tuesday, 2:10 a.m. on a felony failure to appear warrant issued Jan. 27, 2016 out of Reno Township. Bail: $10,000.
— A 31-year-old Carson City man, Ryan Easton Moffett, was booked into jail Tuesday, 1:30 a.m. on a felony warrant alleging attempted burglary. The warrant was issued May 25. Bail: $10,000.
— A 47-year-old Dayton man was arrested Tuesday, 9:06 a.m. in the area of Arrowhead and Bowers on a misdemeanor warrant, failure to appear in traffic court. Bail: $858.
— A 31-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Tuesday, 2:20 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
— A 24-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail Tuesday, 4 p.m. on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail: $1,000.
— A 56-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, 12:46 a.m. in the area of Fifth Street and Lompa Ranch on suspicion of DUI. The driver was stopped for failure to yield. She blew a preliminary breath test of .198. Bail $1,137.
— A 31-year-old Carson City jail inmate was booked Monday on suspicion of petit larceny after allegedly stealing money, $28.94, from a phone commissary account. Bail: $352.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man, Christopher James Reese, was arrested Sunday, 7:39 a.m. at a Condor Circle residence on felony suspicion of preventing a victim from reporting a crime, and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail: $8,000.
— A 61-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 9:44 p.m. in the 3400 block of Airport Road on suspicion of a second DUI. According to the arrest report, deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the area of College Parkway and Dale Drive.
Officers arrived and contacted the suspect while passing through a large debris field where a vehicle had run up on the center median and hit trees and scattered rocks across the roadway on College Parkway between Airport Road and East Nye Lane.
The suspect said he was the sole driver of the vehicle and that he tried to swerve to miss a dog on College Parkway, running up on the median and into a tree. He showed signs of intoxication and was unsteady on his feet as he attempted to walk. He was arrested on suspicion of second DUI. Bail: $2,637.
— A 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 7:24 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct. The man was found passed out on the east side of a convenience store building. Bail: $242.
