Youth vaping epidemic to be addressed by Carson City health officials Monday at parent night
Carson City Juvenile Service’s monthly Parent Education Night is from from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Carson City Health and Human Services Building, located at 900 East Long Street. It will be held held in the main lobby.
Monday's meeting will be in Spanish. Parents, families and students are welcome.
During Monday’s event, Carson City Juvenile Services is partnering with Carson City Health and Human Services to talk about e-cigarettes and vaping products, the extent of the youth vaping epidemic, short-term and long-term effects of vaping, help parents how to talk to their children and provide resources for quitting tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes.
