Carson City Chamber hosts Congressman Mark Amodei March 11, RSVP by Monday
Now part of the ruling party in Washington, D.C., U.S. Congressman Mark Amodei of Nevada's second congressional district, which includes Carson City, will bring to light what is happening in the nation's capital since the election and give his unique insight into changes, if any, now that the Republicans are in charge of both the House and the Senate.
Those who have heard the congressman will know how entertaining and forthright he can be.
Mr. Amodei will be the featured speaker at a luncheon sponsored by the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, Wednesday, March 11 at the Gold Dust West in Carson City. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $17 with advance reservations and payment. $20 at the door. RSVP: 882-1565 by Monday, March 9.
The congressman has served Nevada’s second congressional district since 2011 and is a graduate of Carson High and University of Nevada and when not in Washington, D.C., makes his home in Carson City.
