UPDATE 9:16AM: At least 59 people died and at least 500 wounded in Sunday night's sniper shooting, said Las Vegas Metro Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo. It is the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. Both vehicles associated with the now deceased shooter, Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, have been located as has the female person of interest, Paddock's companion Marilou Danley.

Douglas County authorities investigate Topaz Ranch Estates shooting
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 03/21/2017 - 9:29amUPDATE: The Douglas County Sheriff's Office acknowledged Tuesday that it had erroneously reported that a man had died from a shooting at Topaz Ranch Estates in south Douglas County.
The man, Michael Dixon, 50, suffered a life threatening gunshot wound and was taken by air ambulance, where he is at Renown Medical Center in Reno.
At 6:46 pm the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from 1205 Slate Road in Topaz Ranch Estates in southern Douglas County of two victims with gunshot wounds.

I chose this time of year to prune them, not because it was optimum season for pruning, but because I couldn’t stand looking at all the ugly water sprouts (vertically growing small branches) sticking up haphazardly throughout the framework of the main branches.
