District Attorney Jason Woodbury has called for a coroner’s inquest relating to the Feb. 15, 2020 killing of Clint Garett Malone in Carson City. Malone, 37, died as the result of multiple stab wounds inflicted at a residence on Woodside Drive.

Carson City man killed on tribal land tried and acquitted in 2019 on lewdness with a child charges (Updated)

UPDATE: A 23-year-old Carson City man who died Friday from multiple gunshot wounds was tried and acquitted at a Lake Tahoe court earlier this year on charges of indecent exposure and lewdness with a child under the age of 12, court records show. Kyle Sullivan Bryan was found not guilty by a jury on both counts on April 11, 2019 in El Dorado County Superior Court in South Lake Tahoe.

A Carson City man who died from multiple gunshots Friday in what is being investigated as a possible homicide on Washoe Tribe land was arrested in 2018 for warrants out of South Lake Tahoe for alleged lewdness with a child.

Possible Homicide reported on Carson City's Washoe Tribe Reservation early Friday morning

UPDATE 3:19 p.m.: The Washoe Tribal Police issued the following statement:

On December 13, 2019 at approximately 0304 hours the Washoe Tribe Police and the Carson City Sheriff's Department responded to the area of Boyle St., Carson City, NV, within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Washoe Tribe for a reported Domestic Battery.

Upon arrival it was discovered that an adult victim within a residence had suffered apparent multiple gunshot wounds. The adult victim was declared deceased at the scene.

The Washoe Tribe Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are currently investigating the incident and have made an arrest of an adult individual.

Further details of the incident are being withheld at this time to ensure due process for the arrestee.

Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Boyle St. on the Washoe Tribe reservation early Friday morning to assist the Carson City Fire Department in regards to a gun shot victim call for service.

The Tribal Police were dispatched, and CCSO responded to aid first responders and the Tribe until officers could arrive on scene.

Carson City Fire Department first responders attempted to provide life saving services to the victim, but were unsuccessful.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit received a generous donation of $5,000 from Carson City Toyota, which will be used towards canine emergency medical training aids and equipment, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

“The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit greatly appreciates the generosity of Carson City Toyota,” said Furlong. “Year after year, Carson City Toyota has provided donations to the unit, which has been used to promote the health and training of our canine partners.”

Shooting in Indian Hills reported Saturday night; Careflight ordered for victim

UPDATE: 11:24AM: Two male subjects were involved in a shooting in North Douglas County late Saturday. Both are receiving medical care at this time, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
No law enforcement officers were involved in the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time. There are no outstanding suspects nor is there any threats to our community, said Douglas County Undersheriff Ron Elges. This is still an open investigation.

UPDATE: As of 12:10 a.m., Sunday, one victim was transported to Renown for gunshot wounds, according to Douglas County dispatch.

At around 11:40 p.m. a shooting occurred in Indian Hills which resulted in one male victim reportedly being hit in the wrist and bicep, and another victim was shot in the leg, according to Douglas dispatch.

One of the victims was driven to Carson Tahoe Hospital in a private vehicle, which was hit with gunfire, according to a Carson City sheriff's officer. The male victim was treated for gunshot wounds.

Careflight was called for the second victim, according to Douglas County dispatch.
