The three week program began Monday, Nov. 26, 2018. Training days and times include the following:

— Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
— Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m.

The Levitt AMP Carson City Summer Concert Series has slipped to 11th place as of Monday night, which has made for a last minute plea from the BAC brass to make a citywide call out to bring the concert series back for a fourth season.

It is that time of year again to organize the family adoption for the Angel Tree, organized by Denise DiMarzo at Eagle Valley Middle School. DiMarzo has been working with school counselors and school social workers to identify children and families in need and help as many as possible.

Carson City sheriff's deputies make arrests for domestic battery, disorderly conduct

A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 2400 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, a sheriff's deputy said.

A 38 year-old Carson City man was arrested early Saturday morning at 1:35 a.m. in the 1800 block of N. Carson Street for misdemeanor ex-felon failing to register, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported, and later was found in felony possession of methamphetamine.
