Carson City Parks and Rec hosted first Costume Hike at Carson River Park Monday
This past Monday, the Carson City Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Department held its first Costume Hike at Carson River Park.
We saw some amazing costumes and learned the history behind the Halloween celebrations we know and love.
We were also joined by Tyler Kerver, the Department’s new Ranger Aide, who spoke about Leave No Trace and its importance with keeping our parks and open spaces pristine.
If this sounds interesting to you, please click here to register for our Leave No Trace Hike this Saturday, Nov. 3, 10am at Carson River Park!
We’re hoping to get more of the Carson City community involved with these fun and educational Interpretive Programs, so please visit our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/CCPRDept/, for event updates, photos, and more!
