Advocates to End Domestic Violence, the crisis shelter in Carson City for victims and families of domestic and sexual violence, will host its annual Light after Dark benefit 5K and 10K walk and run on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Riverview Park.

An 18 year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday morning at 8:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on felony drug possession charges along with misdemeanor first-offense domestic battery, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported.
