Carson City sheriff's deputies make arrests for domestic battery, disorderly conduct
A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 2400 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, a sheriff's deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies responded to an RV park for a report of a domestic battery and a female screaming. Deputies arrived and investigated. The woman had injuries with scratches around her neck and around her collarbone that were actively bleeding.
The woman advised the argument she had with the man was verbal and not physical and declined to complete a statement or allow deputies to photograph the injuries. Deputies met with the suspect who said he had pushed the woman off the couch, but that he never strangled the woman or touched her neck. It was determined the man was the primary aggressor. He was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Bail: $3,137.

— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 3:12 p.m. in the 1300 block of Willard Lane for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. According to the arrest report, the suspect allegedly pushed the woman into a bag of leaves where she fell down, and then punched and choked her.
The officer observed the woman had a scratch and red marks on her neck. The woman declined medical attention.
The suspect was interviewed and advised both of them tripped and fell to ground due to the bag of leaves. A witness said she observed the man beating up the woman and heard her say “stop” multiple times. The man was arrested. Bail $3,137.
— A 50-year-old woman was arrested early Wednesday for misdemeanor suspicion of driving with a revoked license for DUI, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
According to the arrest report, a deputy made a traffic stop in the 500 block of East William Street after observing moving violations. The deputy asked the woman, of Reno, for identification, which she provided a Nevada ID card. The officer learned through dispatch that her license had been revoked for a DUI conviction. Bail: $1,137.
— A 19-year-old Reno woman was booked into Carson City Jail for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued August 14, 2018 out of Carson City District Court. The warrant was for violation of parole conditions. She was placed with a no-bail hold in lieu of a hearing.
— A 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 10:44 a.m. at a Sneddon Way residence for misdemeanor being an ex-felon failing to register and a Department of Alternative Sentencing violation. Bail: $3,237.
— A 31-year-old Dayton man was arrested Tuesday, 11:41 a.m. in the 3100 block of South Carson Street for misdemeanor disorderly conduct and obstructing. According to the arrest report, the man arrived to work intoxicated and was in a restroom and fell asleep on the floor.
Deputies located the man who was on the floor. Once a deputy determined he was somewhat coherent he was able to obtain the man’s identification. He was escorted out of the bathroom. Once outside the man began using profane language that drew attention of customers and employees.
He submitted to a preliminary breath test with a result of .377 and was taken to the hospital for medical clearance due to the high alcohol content from the test. He continued to use profane language at the hospital, which drew attention of hospital staff and patients. Bail: $654.
