Epic Rides 'Hail the Trail' returns to benefit trails in Carson City, other host cities

To date, Hail the Trail has raised more than $70,000, benefiting trail building organizations in the host communities of the Epic Rides Series, including Muscle Powered in Carson City.
Blinky Man hits the streets of Carson City on Summer’s longest day

Participants started at the Tap Shack in festive costumes and bicycles decked in lights, fur, and all manner of decoration, before riding to the Fox, the Feisty Goat, the Pourhouse, and ending the night at Living the Good Life.

There's a host of activities Friday and, looking ahead, a bevy of fun Saturday including a Mother's Day craft fair at the Carson City Community Center, a Star Wars themed bicycle safety day, a wine, cheese and dessert ride aboard the V&T, an early opening of the downtown farmer's market, the May Downtown Carson City Wine Walk, a memorial walk, presentations, comedy, live music and more. Boys and Girls Club to raffle Burning Man tickets at Kentucky Derby Fundraiser Saturday

Kentucky Derby Days 2019 will kick off at the Martin Hotel and Basque Restaurant, located at 308 N. Curry Street, at 2:30 p.m. and will run until 6 p.m.
All proceeds of the event will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada, located in Carson City.
Carson City BMX Open House Postponed

Track prep has been slow going but heck or high water pushing to make this happen. So now, Carson City BMX Open House is scheduled for Saturday, 20 April 2019, 1-4 pm and start our 2019 season on Sunday, 21 April 2019, signups 9-10 am (must be a USABMX member).
There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, bring your basket. For more info, come to the Open House or email CCBMX@aol.com or leave a message/contact number at 775-246-3660.

Carson City restaurant to host Boys and Girls Club Kentucky Derby Days fundraiser

The Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada in Carson City has joined in on that celebration for 11 years making it one of the biggest fundraisers for the organization.
