The car was donated to the Mighty Rushing Winds Biker Ministries to help us raise money for some much needed repairs at our Ministry.

Families unite Saturday at Mills Park in Carson City for the first-ever Northern Nevada Family Fun Day, a community event featuring live music, workshops, shopping, raffles, a Kids Zone, giveaways, raffles and more.

There will be rock climbing demonstrations, face painting, pirates, obstacle courses, a bubble station, music, a photo booth, ice cream, refreshments beginning at 11 a.m. and running until to 9 p.m.

After months of planning and preparation, Faith Hope Love of Northern Nevada is about to launch its first-ever Northern Nevada Family Fun Day this Saturday at Mills Park in Carson City.

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe would like to advise travelers going to the Burning Man Festival to obey posted speed limits, and to slow down and keep your distance while traveling through the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation. A 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday in the area of Curry and Eighth Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor domestic battery and two counts probation violation, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

An 18-year-old Reno woman was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, a felony, and misdemeanor minor consuming. An 18-year-old Dayton man was also arrested on suspicion of minor consuming.

A 44-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Monday on a felony warrant, failure to appear, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

A crash early Sunday morning in Carson City that seriously injured a Douglas High School senior who was driving home from work remains under investigation by the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The adult driver of a Subaru who hit the 17-year-old female also remains in the hospital. Alcohol is being investigated as a possible factor at the time of the crash, law enforcement officers said.

A Mound House woman was arrested early Saturday in the area of Highway 50 and Centennial Park on felony suspicion of possessing a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
