There will be a team of CCHHS licensed nurses at each school to administer the flu vaccine. The vaccination is safe and a health action that benefits all age groups to protect against influenza illness.

An 18-year-old cashier at a sporting goods store was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of misdemeanor embezzlement after allegedly stealing $457.45 in cash and merchandise, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

This morning, I came upon an interesting topic while working with a client during Motivation Monday at Adams Hub for Innovation. The topic of our conversation turned to research. Unforgettable and exciting, this is how the Carson High School Homecoming celebration week began. Students enjoyed all the fun and festivities that began at 1 p.m. last Friday as every student in the school hustled to the big gym to prepare for and celebrate everything from the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes to the upcoming crowning of the 2017 Homecoming Queen and King.

Friday night was homecoming in Carson City, an evening that capped a week of celebration at Carson High School (CHS) as the Senators lit up the field in a 41-20 victory over the North Valleys Panthers to the delight of the home crowd.

Besides being a chance to learn about this historic building, this will also be an opportunity to discuss and review possible improvements to dog park areas in Fuji Park and Sonoma Park with FCCPR officers. A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday for felony suspicion of domestic battery with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor resisting arrest, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

On Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 the remains of 27 veterans will finally receive the military burial and honor they were promised through their service in the U.S. Armed Forces. The service will be held beginning at 2 p.m. at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Cemetery, located at 14 Veterans Way, in Fernley, Nev. The public is invited to attend.

A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday in the area of Roop and Washington streets for a misdemeanor criminal contempt warrant issued in August.
