Celebrate 'Christmas Past' on Saturday at Lake Tahoe's Sand Harbor
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – Sip hot chocolate and enjoy holiday treats while learning about the origins of traditions like Santa Claus, candy canes and Christmas trees. This holiday-themed presentation will also include historic Christmas scenes from around Northern Nevada and mining towns, including Virginia City and Tonopah.
This event can be combined with a sleigh ride or a walk around the nature trail.
WHEN: Saturday, December 31, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
WHERE: Sand Harbor Visitor Center, three miles south of Incline Village, NV on Highway 28.
COST: This program is free, but the park entrance fee of $7 applies. There is a $2 discount for Nevada residents. Advance reservations and separate fees are required for the sleigh rides.
