Registration begins for Carson City Off-Road 2017 Epic Ride, Community Night set for Jan. 4
Ride the Carson City Off-Road this summer at the second annual Epic Rides in Carson City. Pre-registration is underway, with full registration set to begin Jan. 1 and a special Carson City area community registration for local riders on Jan. 4, 2017.
Last year's Carson City Off-Road was named the best mountain bike race in the nation during the Inter-bike International Bicycle Exposition held September in Las Vegas. The Carson City Off-Road drew about 600 bikers, including 85 professionals. In all about 2,000 people attended, according to the Carson City Visitors Bureau.
This year, riders can choose from three different distance options of 15, 35 or 50 miles; each consisting of a carefully curated set of spectacular trails. Go here for more information and go here to register.
There will be a Community Discount Registration Night at Firkin and Fox on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. As a show of appreciation toward Carson City's mountain bike community, Epic Rides is extending a discount opportunity to all who live in or near Carson City to register for any of the Epic Rides Off-Road Series events.
Epic Rides organize endurance minded mountain bike events across the West that encourage people to ride their bike for health, sustainable living and pursuit of the good life outside.
