Carson City area road report for Dec. 4-10; plus weekend drive-through living nativity schedule
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Dec. 4-10, 2017. Lane closures or restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work.
— Adaline Street will have narrowed lanes between Mountain Street and Division Street, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Division Street will have narrowed lanes between Long Street and Bath Street, Monday- Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Division Street will have narrowed lanes between Winnie Lane and Bath Street, Monday- Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Meyer Street will have narrowed lanes between Division Street and Nevada Street, Monday- Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Nevada Street will have narrowed lanes between Meyer Street and Bath Street, Monday- Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Telegraph Street will have narrowed lanes between Pratt Avenue and Harbin Avenue, Monday- Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Fairview Drive will be reduced to one lane between Edmonds Drive to U.S. 50, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Harbin Avenue will have narrowed lanes between Musser Street and Telegraph Street, including the intersection of Musser Street and Harbin Avenue, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
— Airport Road will have narrowed lanes between Fifth Street and Butti Way, Monday-Sunday, all hours.
— Valley Street between Second Street and King Street will have traffic control restrictions, Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
— King Street between Stewart Street and Roop Street will have traffic control restrictions, Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
— Second Street between Stewart Street to Roop Street will have traffic control restrictions, Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
— The intersection of Fourth Street and Thompson Street will have traffic control restrictions, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Special Events
The magic of Christmas Night comes alive again Dec. 9-10 at First United Methodist Church in Carson City. Walk or drive the Road to Bethlehem, lit by over 800 luminaria, through 10 different live-action scenes depicting the night of Christ's birth.
Drive-Through Living Nativity: Saturday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The following streets will be closed:

— Minnesota Street between King Street to Telegraph Street
— Minnesota Street between King Street to Telegraph Street
— Proctor Street between Minnesota to Nevada Street
