The Road To Bethlehem: First United Methodist Church Drive-Through Living Nativity
The magic of Christmas Night comes alive again at First United Methodist Church in Carson City. Walk or drive the Road to Bethlehem, lit by over 800 luminaria, through 10 different live-action scenes depicting the night of Christ's birth.
Nearly 200 people of all ages are involved in telling the story, along with a variety of live animals, often including cows, donkeys and sheep. Our historic candlelit sanctuary will be open for those looking for a place of quiet reflection.
The holiday season can be a such busy, stressful time for everyone. We invite you to join us in a moment to pause and reflect on the joy and mystery of the Christmas story.
There is no fee, the Living Nativity is our gift to our community, however, we will be collecting nonperishable food items to be donated to Friends in Service Helping, also known as F.I.S.H.
The Living Nativity will be Saturday and Sunday, December 9-10, 6:30-8:00 pm. Enter (by foot or in a vehicle) at Division and King Streets, west of Carson Street.
