A private California investor has purchased Shenandoah Villas, a 78-unit multifamily apartment complex in Carson City. The property sold for $9.75 million, or $125,000 a unit. The seller was undisclosed. Shenandoah Villas is located at 101 Conestoga Drive in Carson City, just off of Interstate 580.

A 51-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday afternoon in Kings Canyon on a U.S. Forest Service road for misdemeanor reckless driving, driving with a suspended and revoked license for DUI, alcohol consumption in public and littering, a sheriff's deputy said.

There are crimes uncommitted because of Brianna Denison. Denison, a 19-year-old college student who was raped and murdered in Reno in 2008, became the catalyst for a Nevada law that is preventing and solving crimes.
