Nevada Humane Society hosts 'Super Pet Draft' ahead of Super Bowl
Super Bowl 52 is around the corner, but the cats and dogs at Nevada Humane Society are cheering for a different team: Yours. Regardless of the game’s final score, you’re guaranteed to be a winner when drafting a new furry friend to your team.
In honor of the Super Bowl, adoption deals are so good you won’t want to miss out! Linebackers, also known as the adult dogs, are just $50. Wide Receivers, the adult cats over the age of five, are free. Running Backs, the cats under the age of five, are $25, and rookie kittens are just $60. All positions are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before game day. All deals are good through Feb. 4.
The starting lineup includes a variety of breeds and personalities, and all dogs and cats are competing for the MVP, with the prize being, of course, a team of their very own.
And while there will be one clear winner and loser in the Super Bowl, you can help make sure the homeless dogs and cats at Nevada Humane Society win the best prize of all — an adoption into your loving family!
Nevada Humane Society is open for adoptions (in Reno at 2825 Longley Lane and in Carson City at 549 Airport Road) seven days a week, from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm and an hour earlier at 10:00 am on Saturdays. For more information, visit www.nevadahumanesociety.org or call 775-856-2000.
