Chamber: Tahoe Ridge Winery coming to Carson City
A popular Carson Valley food and wine bistro is expanding to Carson City. Tahoe Ridge Winery will open in the former Station Grille restaurant location, across from the Carson Mall on Carson Street. The announcement was made at a Carson City Chamber mixer Wednesday and today by the chamber in its daily newsletter.
The Chamber notes the “winery is a great upscale fit for our city and will be a great addition to our tourism offerings as well.
“What a difference this will make on Carson Street! If you haven’t visited the winery in Minden, you have missed out. You need to check out just how perfect this fit is for our city.
“We thank the Carrington Company for diligently improving their little corner of our world – both the Carson Mall and the former restaurant.”
According to its website, the Minden-operated Tahoe Ridge Winery, Bistro & Marketplace offers a full variety of award-winning wines, foods, wine accessories, jewelry, books and clothing.
In addition to its wines, the Minden operation also offers a wide selection of imported and domestic beers, a full bar and serves a Bistro menu featuring an assortment of salads, appetizers, gourmet pizzas and other bistro fare.
We left a message with Tahoe Ridge Winery and hope to have more information later, including when it plans to open. Stay tuned.
