Lake Tahoe area ski resorts host job fairs through October
More than 3,400 seasonal employees are needed by Vail Resorts for the upcoming ski season at their Lake Tahoe resorts Heavenly, Kirkwood and Northstar. Three job fairs will be held in October where perspective employees can meet with resort personnel and have interviews.
This first job fair will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Red Cliffs Lodge at Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
On Oct. 18 there will be a South Lake Tahoe job fair for both Kirkwood and Heavenly Mountain resorts. This will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., applications will be accepted in the California Main Lodge.
Northstar will be looking for employees at their job fair on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Village at Northstar.
Applicants and job fair attendees are required to apply online in advance of the job fair at www.jobs.vailresorts.com.

Open positions for the 2014-2015 winter season include: ski and snowboard instructors, ticket sellers, food and beverage workers, lift operators, retail sales associates, parking attendants, ticket scanners, mountain safety attendants, and more.
