Carson City firefighters respond to brush fire near Lone Mountain Cemetery
UPDATE 2:06PM: Firefighters appear to have a handle on the fire, though it hasn't been reported as knocked down. Fire cameras at C-Hill and McClellan Peak are no longer showing smoke. We will update as information becomes available.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Sunday afternoon to a brush fire near hillside of Lone Mountain Cemetery and in the area of 2300 block of Marian Avenue.
The fire was reported at around 1:30 p.m. Multiple fire trucks have responded.
Traffic is closed on Roop Street from Winnie to Northridge. Motorists should use an alternate route.
A phone caller to dispatch advised they may have saw someone set the fire. The cause is under investigation. An investigator has been sent to the scene.
