Sierra Nevada Forums to host talk Tuesday on Nevada Native American tribes
The public is invited to the Tuesday, Sept. 10 forum at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 West King Street. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The program begins at 6 p.m. The event is free, donations are appreciated.
Featured speakers are:
— Marla McDade Williams, a members of the Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone and past commissioner with the Nevada Indian Commission.
— Stacey Montooth, a member of the Walker River Paiute Tribe, and executive director of the Nevada Indian Commission.
— Brian Wadsworth, a member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, and a commissioner on the Nevada Indian Commission.
