Night of arts, music, entertainment in Carson City Saturday
Live stage music played simultaneously Saturday evening from the Minnesota Street Stage at the Brewery Arts Center on West King Street to Living the Good Life Nightclub-Bistro-Lounge at Adams and North Carson Street.
A lineup of local, regional and national musicians graced both stages Saturday, including Grammy nominee Ty Herndon, who headlined the inaugural Festival of Heroes concert held at Living the Good Life.
The first-year event was organized by The Last Response Memorial Fund, which raises money to help first-responders and their families.
This year The Last Response Memorial Fund is making a donation to the Nevada Fire Fighters with the proceeds from Saturday's music event.
Saturday night also marked the end of the 2018 Levitt AMP Carson City Music Series, 10 weeks of free public concerts throughout the summer.
La Chamba headlined the final act of the season at Saturday night's concert, which was opened by the Giants of Zen.
This year marked the third consecutive year for Levitt AMP in Carson City.
